What You Will Be Doing:
Join a dynamic team in Salt Lake City, UT, where you will be key in writing, proofreading, editing, organizing, and managing internal documents for a science-focused company. This 12-month contract position requires strong technical writing skills and a background in science. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience with various scientific documents, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, proofread, edit, and organize internal documents such as verification, validation, and study protocols and reports, development study protocols and reports, requirements documents, presentations, work instruction documents (WID), standard operating procedures (SOP), guidelines, and flowcharts.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in technical documents, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to gather information and ensure accurate and consistent document content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, ensuring smooth workflow and organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Advanced degree preferred or 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in writing technical documents in a scientific context.
- Strong science background (biochemistry, molecular biology).
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS PowerPoint; familiarity with programs such as Visio.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: $22.40 – $32 /hr.
