What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting components of our systems infrastructure. You will collaborate with customers, business partners, and engineering teams to develop, implement, and support IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor multiple ticket/change queues and provide initial service remediation efforts for multi-platform applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, run diagnostics, document problems, and assess the impact of issues.
  • Implement change tasks, including patch deployments, software deployments, and application upgrades.
  • Perform standard request fulfillment activities, such as server builds, system adjustments, and decommissioning.
  • Serve as an internal escalation point within operations and analyze/transition tasks between teams within Platform Services.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to transitioned tasks and global processes for Platform Services.
  • Implement operational best practices and standard operating procedures for deployment, support, break-fix, and systems management.
  • Make recommendations for new procedures and processes within the department to improve overall efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2012 – 2019.
  • Minimum 1 year of system administration experience with UNIX and Linux server technologies.
  • Knowledge of Windows server technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with system management tools such as WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, and SCORCH.
  • Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Understanding of operating system theory, core infrastructure, 3rd party software products, and client/server hardware components.
  • Experience with deploying system patches.
  • Available to participate in a 24×7 on-call support rotation.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, with two or more years of related work experience.
  • Experience packaging Windows applications using SCCM.
  • Certifications or experience with virtual infrastructures such as VMware.
  • Certifications or experience in cloud infrastructures like Azure or AWS.
  • 1+ years of experience working with middleware software such as WebLogic and Tomcat.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Citrix desktop.
  • Experience with Office 365.

Pay:  $25.20 – $36 /hr.
