What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a Senior QA Test Engineer to join our team in implementing a CGI IP solution (Collections 360). You will lead a team of up to 14 offshore testers, focusing on API/Interface testing and ancillary applications in Pega. This role requires strong SQL skills, experience with both manual and automated testing, and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of offshore testers
- Execute test cases and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Coordinate testing activities and ensure timely delivery of deliverables
- Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to identify and resolve testing issues
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
- Perform manual and automated testing, including database and UI-based testing
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams
Required Skills & Experience:

Technical/Functional:
- Experience in all aspects of testing procedures, including execution, test case writing, data setup, and automation candidate assessment
- Strong SQL skills, including joins (inner and outer)
- Strong data analysis and analytics skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Functional knowledge of the banking/financial services industry
- Experience testing in distributed application environments (e.g., interfaces and APIs)
- Experience testing in legacy application environments (e.g., mainframe/JCL)
- Familiarity with Collections/Default within a consumer bank (preferred)
- Knowledge or experience with CACS/Strata or other platforms (preferred)
Critical Soft Skills:
- Experience leading teams (e.g., testing team lead)
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving and triage skills
- Ability to advocate for the team and address capacity concerns
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Collections/Default platforms like CACS/Strata.
- Familiarity with mainframe batch processing and consumer banking applications.
Pay: $35 – $50 /hr.
