What You Will Be Doing:

The creative team is seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing department. This role is crucial for developing compelling and strategic messaging, particularly in the social media sphere, and driving creative excellence across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled creative problem solver with strong conceptual and copywriting abilities, looking to make a significant impact through innovative and effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft and execute complex strategies and creative copy, targeting social media and other communication channels.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic recommendations to align copy with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure cohesive brand messaging and creative alignment across divisions and audiences.
  • Apply research insights to develop targeted positioning and activation strategies.
  • Maintain high standards of creative writing, detail orientation, and strategic execution across all projects.
  • Present strategic and creative decisions effectively to internal teams and business partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to enhance brand strength and creative impact.
  • Manage project updates and information sharing through project management tools.

Leadership:

  • Support the development and execution of strategic direction and copywriting for visual elements.
  • Demonstrate intrinsic motivation and resilience, solving challenges with a resourceful and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Prioritize work effectively, allocate resources, and lead others to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspire and mentor fellow creatives, fostering an inclusive and engaging team environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of communication principles and experience working with Art Directors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide creative consulting and messaging expertise.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, though not required.
  • Proven ability to align copy with design direction and create effective messaging.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, setting creative direction, and building consensus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make autonomous decisions.

Pay: $50.72 – $72.45 /hr.
