What You Will Be Doing:

Be part of the in-house creative resource for a leading pet food company. Creatives here are talented, naturally curious, and self-motivated individuals who enjoy the excitement of agency life with all the benefits of a big company. We share a passion for pets. As a Sr. Art Director, you are a multi-talented creative and strategic thinker who concepts, creates, and produces high-quality work that is relevant to the brand and compelling to the target audience. You have solid design skills and can work successfully with a creative and account service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute traditional and digital communications with excellent design capabilities and a complete understanding of the consumer/user.
  • Concept and execute digital content, such as e-commerce assets, digital advertising, website assets, and video.
  • Contribute to package design efforts.
  • Exercise quality control of design recommendations and executions.
  • Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments, completing them on time, understanding direction, and applying feedback. Credibly represent and present your work.
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Managers, Strategy team partners, fellow creatives, internal and external teams, clients, and vendor partners. Positively influence decisions for the benefit of the creative work and the brands.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a design emphasis preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience working as an Art Director or similar creative role at an advertising or in-house agency or similar.
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills for both digital and print design.
  • Strong understanding of designing for traditional channels and digital channels, including social, e-commerce, digital display advertising, and retailer digital advertising.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Must have motion design skills, including After Effects and animated GIFs.
  • Familiarity with Figma.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong conceptual thinker and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects successfully.

Pay: $33 – $47.14 /hr.
