What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our Global Cyber Security Correlations Team. This role is responsible for analyzing, responding to, and triaging security alerts and events, ensuring optimal protection of our systems. You will work in a dynamic environment using tools like WAF, SIEM, and firewalls to investigate and remediate security incidents while guiding junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze security incidents involving malicious attacks, anomalies, malware, and unauthorized access.
- Coordinate incident responses and investigations, providing clear communication to management.
- Assist in maintaining and enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to process improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- Working knowledge of network protocols, packet captures, security controls, and concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze security events and coordinate responses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to work in a team environment
- Commitment to incorporating security into all aspects of your work
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
- Security certifications (e.g., CYSA+, Security+, CEH, GIAC)
- Experience with cloud environments
Pay: $47.60 – $68 /hr.
