What You Will Be Doing:
The Master Data Analyst is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across various systems. This role involves analyzing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, thereby facilitating data-driven decision-making and efficient business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update master data across various databases and data management systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through regular data audits and quality checks.
- Analyze master data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain data models for reporting and analysis.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Work with IT to integrate master data from various sources into centralized databases.
- Create and maintain documentation related to master data processes and procedures.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and enhance data quality.
- Communicate data-related issues, updates, and improvements to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data requirements and priorities.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data-related tools and processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
- Proven experience in data analysis and data management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with data quality management tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database management systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific master data domains (e.g., product data, customer data).
- Certification in data management or related fields is a plus.
Pay: $91,000 – $130,000 /yr.
