What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a proven ability to deliver results. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver IT-related projects, particularly in the data management and reporting domain.
- Ensure security considerations are integrated into all project decisions and daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of program and project management concepts, from planning and inception through implementation and support.
- Concurrently manage multiple end-to-end projects, ensuring successful delivery of committed baseline plans.
- Perform scoping analysis, tool usage, and standards application with proficient functional and technical knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project team members, providing regular updates and reports.
- Facilitate meetings, ensuring stakeholder accountability and clear project direction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong teamwork and negotiation skills.
- Maintain intimate knowledge of all phases of the full life cycle application development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- 3+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in data management and reporting.
- Proven ability to deliver on programs/projects.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC phases.
- Excellent meeting facilitation, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits.
- Ability to perform in the face of ambiguity and ensure stakeholder accountability.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Knowledge of software development technologies, tools, and processes.
- General understanding of Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Exposure to Azure architecture/services (AKS, storage, functions, Entra/AAD, etc.).
- PMP Certification.
- Scrum Master Certification.
Pay: $49 – $70 /hr.
