What You Will Be Doing:
Join a critical role in maintaining and optimizing industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and utility systems in a manufacturing environment. This position ensures the reliability and efficiency of equipment crucial to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC/R equipment including:
- Ammonia refrigeration systems
- Drive-in coolers/freezers
- Process Glycol chillers and boilers
- Steam boilers and chemistry control
- Water systems and chemistry control (Reverse Osmosis System, softeners, filters)
- Glyco heat exchange systems
- Compressed air systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Make Air Units
- Participate in the Process Safety Management program
- Serve as a member of the factory Emergency Response team and HAZWOPER team
- Maintain equipment logs and reports using computerized maintenance systems
Required Skills & Experience:
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience or education in HVAC/R or related field preferred
- RETA-CARO certification preferred
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to work at heights
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization
- Adherence to all plant rules/policies including safety and GMP regulations, and maintaining good housekeeping practices
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
- Comfort working in a team-based environment
Pay: $22.93 – $32.76 /hr.
