What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking an experienced Expert Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of digital technologies and their application in the manufacturing industry, focusing on optimizing EHSQ processes. This role is crucial for driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance operations, safety compliance, and overall quality within manufacturing facilities. The position requires a sense of urgency, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and a high level of self-motivation and agility. Travel will be required between 3-5% for site visits and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize digital opportunities in the EHSQ environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
  • Evaluate existing EHSQ systems, processes, and workflows to recommend digital solutions that enhance effectiveness and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on digital technologies applicable to EHSQ; balance the roles of system administrator and business analyst as needed.
  • Analyze, design, and implement technical solutions to meet organizational needs; lead the solution design and delivery of tools/platforms such as CorityOne EHSQ management to improve EHSQ processes.
  • Conduct training sessions, demos, and workshops to educate employees on digital tools and promote digital adoption in the EHSQ space.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to implement and configure digital solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor and analyze data from digital systems to identify trends and areas for improvement in EHSQ performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital manufacturing and EHSQ management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, or related fields, or significant experience in EHSQ roles within a manufacturing or production environment instead of a degree.
  • 1-5 years of experience coordinating Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality sustainability activities in a manufacturing setting; experience in food or pharma manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of EHSQ regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven experience implementing digital solutions in manufacturing, such as EHSQ management systems, IoT devices, data analytics, and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific digital platforms and software, such as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and EHSQ software.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a focus on innovative digital solutions for EHSQ processes.
  • Technical writing skills for requirements documentation, policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Certifications in relevant areas such as EHSQ management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), Lean Six Sigma, or Digital Transformation are highly desirable.

  • Additional Skills: Strong understanding of the project life cycle, ability to develop project controls, and experience in leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.

Pay: $54.60 – $78 /hr.
