Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Engineer 2, Managed DevOps. Do you have experience building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Azure? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Engineer 2, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve business problems and act as a subject matter expert within your focus area. Representing your department on complex assignments, you will evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation, making recommendations for improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. You will listen to and evaluate customer needs to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their expectations.

In this role on the Managed DevOps team, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will build AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure, utilizing Terraform and continuous integration & deployment automation methodologies. You will also identify and implement changes to maximize team efficiency in delivering solutions that meet non-functional requirements, such as security, compliance, performance, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for technology effectiveness.
  • Represent the department on complex assignments.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain AWS and/or Azure infrastructure.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
  • Use scripting languages such as Groovy, Linux Shell, and Python.
  • Implement IAAS tools like Terraform with HCL scripting.
  • Perform platform management for web applications on servers such as Tomcat, Websphere, and JBoss.
  • Ensure security is integrated into all decisions and job responsibilities.
  • Quickly triage problems, determine root cause, and drive resolution.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Committed to incorporating security into all job responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Groovy, Linux Shell, Python).
  • Experience with IAAS tools (Terraform, HCL scripting).
  • Proficient with Linux user interface and commands.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly triage problems and determine root cause.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in platform management for web applications (Tomcat, Websphere, JBoss).
  • AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal).
  • Familiarity with Open Source automation tools (Chef, Ansible).
  • Understanding of DNS, firewalls, routing, and certificate management.

Pay:  $49 – $70 /hr.
