What You Will Be Doing:
The Company is seeking an Engineer 2, Developer Productivity & Tools to join our IT Department. This role is pivotal in furthering the value of the Dynatrace platform by implementing and configuring Dynatrace's Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solution, analyzing application performance data, troubleshooting issues, providing training, and continuously improving the Dynatrace implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Dynatrace’s APM solution across various environments, including setting up dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Analyze application performance data collected by Dynatrace to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues using Dynatrace tools, coordinating with other IT teams when necessary.
- Provide training to team members on Dynatrace tools and maintain related documentation.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Dynatrace implementation and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in taking ownership of and automating the CI/CD pipeline where possible.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of our tool suite including CI/CD toolsets, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience with Dynatrace, including developing custom dashboards, alerts, and reports.
- Strong understanding of application performance management concepts.
- Proven ability to extrapolate data out of application monitoring tools and present it to non-technical resources.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and perform night and weekend maintenance as needed.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products.
- Must meet all work-from-home technical requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Dynatrace certification.
- Experience with Dynatrace Runtime Application Protection and cloud-based tooling.
- Familiarity with application build tooling, Java software development, AWS, CI/CD pipeline tooling, and Atlassian Suite.
- Knowledge of version control systems for code management (e.g., Git) and code scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube).
Work From Home Requirements:
- Must have reliable high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider.
- High-speed Internet connection with a validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb, with latency less than 100ms.
Pay: $94,500 – $135,000 /yr.
