What You Will Be Doing:
The Director of Information Technology Infrastructure will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our client's organization's IT infrastructure. As a key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 20 individuals, including 2 Managers and 7 Individual Contributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20 IT professionals, consisting of 2 Managers and 7 Individual Contributors.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages professional growth and excellence.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Lead Infrastructure Capacity Planning to ensure the scalability of the IT infrastructure to support the company's growth.
- Oversee Data Center Migration as part of Infrastructure Management initiatives.
Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, staying abreast of emerging threats and security technologies.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure in a complex organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of IT security, cloud technologies, networking, and system administration.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Pay: $157,500 – $225,000 /yr.
