Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented DevOps Engineer II. Do you have experience in building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Azure? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer II to join our Managed DevOps team. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to solve business problems, act as a subject matter expert, and represent your department on complex projects. You will evaluate technology effectiveness, gather requirements, conduct testing and research, and make recommendations for improvements. Your ability to understand and address customer needs with high-quality solutions is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in your focus area, representing your department on complex assignments.
  • Evaluate and improve technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, and research.
  • Build and manage AWS and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Implement CI/CD automation methodologies.
  • Identify and implement changes to maximize team efficiency in delivering secure, compliant, high-performance, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively and provide high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Linux Shell, and/or Python.
  • Experience with IAAS tools, such as Terraform and its scripting language HCL.
  • Proficiency with Linux user interface and commands.
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly triage problems, determine root cause, and drive resolution.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in platform management for web application environments such as Java, running on Tomcat, Websphere, JBoss.
  • AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager or Drupal.
  • Familiarity with Open Source automation tools such as Chef or Ansible.
  • General understanding of DNS, firewalls, routing, and certificate management.

Pay:  $49 – $70 /hr.
