What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Database Developer II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting SQL Server database solutions in both production and development environments. We invite you to apply if you have a strong background in SQL Server development, including experience with stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
- Debug and modify SSIS packages and SSRS reports, and design/configure reporting services using RS configuration manager.
- Develop and support XML/XLS schemas.
- Perform database/code migrations and track requests within internal SharePoint workflows.
- Understand current IT applications/technology to ensure that developed solutions meet divisional objectives.
- Develop and enforce IT application standards.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in developing Windows and/or web-based SQL applications.
- Intermediate level of self-sufficiency and initiative in working on database projects.
- Intermediate level of analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database development and managing multiple MS SQL Server databases on large systems.
- Monitoring and tuning databases.
- Knowledge of Transact-SQL and stored procedures.
- Basic understanding of entity framework and team foundation server (TFS)

- Developing and supporting XML/XLS schemas – Expert level

Pay: $56,000 – $80,000 /yr.
