What You Will Be Doing:
This position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of data across multiple integrated systems and supporting developers and testers during the application release process. The selected candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to document business processes and identify data quality needs. The position requires a high attention to detail, analytical and communication skills as well as strong agricultural and scientific domain knowledge. Heavy on domain knowledge in planning, manufacturing, and quality as well as IT technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing SQL code from stored procedures, scripts, and document flow to create mapping documents
- Analyze existing SAP transactions and ABAP code to be translated to SQL and mapping documents
- Understand and map source data fields from custodial and market data sources
- Gather and document requirements for future system enhancements by working with both the business and core systems teams
- Send status reports on the activities planned vs completed
- Prepare business scenarios and UAT test cases
- Support Development, SIT, and UAT teams on requirement clarification
- Work closely with the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Agriculture, Science, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with SAP Modules and SQL.
- Proven ability to translate ABAP code into mapping documents.
- Strong understanding of agricultural and scientific data models and concepts (Most Critical Skill).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay: $56 – $80 /hr.
