Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Data Governance Data Engineer . Do you have experience in building, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud environment, preferably Azure? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Data Governance Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and applications using technologies like Python, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and APIs. You'll act as the technical expert for our MDM platform and ensure its seamless integration with other data sources. This role requires strong collaboration with various teams to align data governance best practices with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain data governance solutions using MDM, Data Catalog, and Data Quality tools.
  • Serve as the technical expert for the MDM platform, overseeing data flows and integrations for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, utilizing cloud storage solutions like Azure Data Lake.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions in big data, relational databases, and other technologies.
  • Translate data governance use cases into technical solutions, ensuring compliance with Nestlé standards and regulations.
  • Monitor resources, troubleshoot technical and data issues, and work towards uninterrupted data management operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align data governance processes with business objectives, employing agile development practices.
  • Develop and interact with APIs for data mapping and configuration of data management tools.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data integration and management by connecting various data sources with MDM and Data Catalog tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Associate's Degree (A.S.) or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
  • Experience with cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure Data Lake)
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud environment, preferably Azure
  • Experience with Databricks for data processing, analysis, and automation

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in data modeling, data architecture, data analysis, and data management
  • Strong to expert level SQL skills
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and data-related issues
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical requirements to stakeholders
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and solution configuration (Profisee a plus)
  • Experience with Alation, Collibra, Purview, or similar data governance tools
  • Proficiency in developing and interacting with APIs
  • Familiarity with data quality concepts and tools

Pay: $57.40 – $82 /hr.
