What You Will Be Doing:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Breeding organization, collaborating with Breeders, Data Scientists, and Software Developers to ensure data alignment and consistency. You will be responsible for delivering key datasets, developing data assets for breeding insights, and supporting analytic models to drive product decisions. This role requires adaptability, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Breeders, Data Scientists, and Software Developers to drive data alignment and consistency across the Breeding organization.
- Deliver key datasets to enable the product pipeline.
- Develop data assets to provide breeding insights.
- Support analytic models and report creation for product decisions.
- Provide analytics and pipeline data support during peak harvest times.
- Support new IT tool implementation and testing.
- Create ad-hoc reporting datasets for leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or data analytics fields with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with one year of relevant experience.
- Experience with R and Python, Java, Linux, or other computing languages.
- Solid experience with PL-SQL.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary/multicultural team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and think objectively to develop corporate strategies
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Plant Breeding, Agronomy, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
- Two years of experience with Python and R.
- Project management experience with the ability to drive projects to completion under tight timelines.
- Proficiency in enterprise data management and analysis software.
- Experience leading IT strategies and building solutions to meet changing business needs.

Pay: $30.10 – $43 /hr.
