What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a Corepoint Integration Engineer with Level 2 Certification to join our team for a 12-18 month contract. The position is remote-based, with responsibilities including configuring the Corepoint Integration Engine, reviewing HL7 messages, and ensuring successful data integration for visual analytics in Tableau. The role involves close collaboration with customer IT departments to set up virtual machine (VM) requirements, perform integration engine configuration, and validate SQL databases.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Attend project calls to prepare for project deployment activities.
  • Work with customer IT departments to set expectations on VM requirements and specifications.
  • Configure the integration engine and ensure HL7 messages from the Laboratory Information System (LIS) are received by the engine.
  • Test rules to validate HL7 messages and configure SQL to receive data while also validating the SQL database.
  • Support migration/conversion projects, particularly transitioning customers from SaS to Tableau.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HL7 and application interfacing with Laboratory Information Systems.
  • Certification: Corepoint Level 2 Certification (Level 3 is preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience with Corepoint Integration Engine, with proficiency in configuring and programming.
  • Experience with Healthcare IT departments and understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with remote access solutions.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to document work performed.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and implementing mitigating actions.

Additional Information:

  • This role is part of a migration/conversion project to move customers from SaS to Tableau.
  • The contract duration is 12-18 months, and the start date is May 20, 2024.

Pay:  $64.40 – $92 /hr.
