Bio: Palash Bera is an interim associate dean at Chaifetz school of Business, Saint Louis University. He is also the Department Chair of Operations and ITM Department and a data analytics professor. Apart from teaching data analytics courses (e.g. storytelling with data), he oversees data analytics consulting projects for the graduate business students.

His research interests are in data visualizations, predictive analytics, empirical studies of information systems analysis, use of eye tracking, and design thinking. He has published in topics such as data visualization and requirements analysis in reputed journals such as MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research. He has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Management Information Systems from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He also consults organizations on data analytics implementation projects.
