Bio: Sandi Brown is the founder and President of Gateway Creative Broadcasting in St. Louis, MO.  Sandi leads two radio stations, 99.1 JOY FM, a top 10 rated radio station in St. Louis that features Contemporary Christian Music and BOOST Radio, featuring Pop Hip Hop and Hope. BOOST is heard on 95.5 fm in St. Louis and in Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul. The combined reach of both stations is over 500,000 people each week.   

Sandi is co-host of the JOY FM Morning Show and authors “A Minute in the Word,” a daily devotional.  Sandi currently serves as Vice-Chair for Christian Music Broadcasters.   

Sandi worked as a Creative Writer and Producer for Focus on the Family.  

Sandi is a graduate of Maryville University, St. Louis with a B.A. in Communications. Sandi was the “girl next door” when she introduced herself to Mike.  They have been married for 34 years.  They have 3 children: Danelle, Nathan and Miguel.  Two little redheaded boys call Sandi by her preferred name, “Nana.”  Sandi loves to spend time with her family, go on walks and laugh, or “cackle” as her friends and co-workers call it.  Her favorite question is:  “Why do you have a flying pig in your office?”  Sandi resides in Columbia, Illinois.

Sandi’s Something Extra: The permission to speak freely mindset. Establishing the vernacular for difficult conversations that set both parties up for succes is the something extra you should bring to the table as the leader within your team.
