Our client, a national supermarket chain, aims to offer the most rewarding value in a grocery shopping experience by delivering the highest quality products in their intuitively designed grocery stores across 36 states. Servicing 1,300 stores, their internal IT operation has grown with the company over the last four decades.
As a leader in the grocery industry, our client also has a robust and ever-growing list of IT projects to meet their ever-evolving business needs. This continually put their talent in a perpetual state of working on projects rather than advancing their overall technology stack.
Their team knew they needed help but also knew that staffing up wasn’t the most effective solution. They sought out a third-party solution team to enhance their systems, upgrade their old software, and streamline their processes with the hope to modernize their technology and software development practice across the board.
Our Custom Applications team worked to carry out a myriad of new improvements starting with a number of core applications, updated legacy systems, improved their processes towards a more agile methodology, and ultimately collaborated to improve their existing team’s knowledge base while improving the integrity of the entire operation.
