Retired after 20+ years of international leadership experience at Procter & Gamble, Denis Beausejour is doing his most important work yet. He serves on the boards of New Generations and the Greater Cincinnati Prayer Canopy, providing spiritual guidance to people across the world. Listen in as Denis and Lisa talk through his powerful new book, leadership principles, and upcoming goals.
Bio: Denis was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada, and spent his early years in Ottawa. He graduated from Michael Power High School in Toronto, and from the Queen’s University Smith School of Business in Kingston.
Denis has been married to Marianne for 42 years. They have 4 children and 10 grandchildren, with their eleventh on the way.
Denis worked at Procter & Gamble for 22 years with executive assignments in Toronto, Sydney, Kobe, Hong Kong, and Cincinnati, most recently as global VP of Advertising. Following a call into spiritual leadership, Denis completed seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, then led Answers for Life, the ministry of Dr. Henry Cloud with Campus Crusade for Christ (now called Cru).
In 2004, Denis and Marianne were called to lead and serve Mariemont Church, a very special spiritual family. In 2022, they retired from staff ministry but remain part of the congregation, sent to the city and the nations.
In retirement, Denis and Marianne are focusing “Season 3” on making disciple makers. Denis serves on the boards of New Generations (www.newgenerations.org) and the Greater Cincinnati Prayer Canopy (www.gcprayercanopy.net)
Denis just published his first book, The Biggest Idea Ever, written to marketplace leaders who have given up on church but are seeking more in life.
The book captures four decades of accumulated wisdom - two decades at P&G and two decades helping marketplace believers live and share Jesus and his Kingdom. Denis hopes the book will bless believers and be a great tool to share the Kingdom with coworkers.
Denis' Something Extra: "I believe that it is humility. And for me, humility encompasses availability, service, vulnerability, curiosity, all coming from a settled identity."
