Bio: Dave Williams is senior vice president, Corporate IT Operations and Employee Experience for Mastercard. His responsibilities include leading a team globally that oversees day-to-day Corporate IT support and services, which provides a 24x7 support desk, field services, asset management requisitioning & inventory, desktop engineering, and enhanced support. The team also support office moves, expansions as well as mergers and acquisitions. Drives operational excellence and governance across the operations organization.

Dave's team focuses on improving the overall employee experience from a day-to-day operations perspective and working towards self-service, automation, AI chatbots and more to allow our employees to work anywhere, anytime on any device. His team demonstrated agility and quickly pivoted during the Pandemic providing ability for all employees to work from home and support teams while successfully onboarding over two thousand new hires and interns during the Pandemic. Also, instrumental in Work from Home protocol, Return to Work & Future of Work initiatives.

Dave joined Mastercard in 2010. He previously held a leadership position in transforming our Kansas City regional office from a lights on backup contingency center to a co-processing data center with a fully functional Operations Command Center. He also worked to transform the office to better represent teams across O&T and driving site improvements.

Dave spent time at Landis+Gyr managing their North America 24x7 Operations, Ernst & Young as a consultant in telecom, and started his career at Sprint where his experience ranged from sales, business operations, customer service, technical support, operations command center, 24x7 operations and was part of the executive training program.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism Mass Communications/ Advertising from Kansas State University.

Dave volunteers as executive mentor for Next Generation Leader & Technology Leadership Experience. He’s an advisory board member for Executive Strategic Alliance, LLC. Member of Kansas City CIO-Inspire CIO Leadership Network.
