LISA NICHOLS

CEO OF TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS & SOMETHING EXTRA PODCAST HOST

Lisa Nichols, CEO of Technology Partners and host of Something Extra podcast

Speaking Topics

"Embracing the Growth Mindset"

Lisa endeavors to build a case that having a growth mindset might be
one of the most foundational concepts on which we should focus. We can
have a high IQ with intellectual smarts, a high EQ that allows us to be social
geniuses, but having a high GQ (growth quotient) enables us to be a better
version of ourselves each day

"Finding Your Something Extra"

Each one of us was created with “something extra;” the difference-maker
in our DNA that defines who we are and how we were built to be unique. Lisa
challenges everyone to start looking for the “something extra” in others,
and also how to find those traits within yourself.

"Courage Over Comfort: Tangible Ways to Embrace the Challenge of Every Day"

Humans are wired to seek comfort over the uncomfortable. However, we
will never fulfill who God called us to be if we get stuck in the comfortable.
Lisa shares guidance for how to choose the braver thing, the decision to not
remain stuck in the status quo.

Something Extra Podcast Overview

The Something Extra podcast was inspired by Lisa’s youngest
daughter, Ally who has Down syndrome. She scientifically has an extra
21st chromosome but has many “something extras” like extra love and
compassion, intuition and, in her words, “moves.” This is a leadership
podcast where she interviews leaders from all walks of life to learn
from them what it takes to be a leader in today’s marketplace. To date,
they have had over 30,000 downloads of the podcast, and reach is
continuing to grow all the time. “Something Extra” can be found on
every podcast platform.
