What You Will Be Doing:
You will work with the North America IT R&D team with focus on reporting, database structures and testing. This role will lead initiatives across the portfolio of applications supported by the team to determine the strategy, document the processes and deliver reports via Business Objects. In addition, this role will be responsible for driving improvements and automation of testing within the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing requirements / reports
- Perform database analysis
- Determine migration strategy for moving reports to Business Objects.
- Provide direction on testing tools
- Develop & execute test plans
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years as IT business analyst with experience in eliciting, documenting and managing requirements
- 3+ years of experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies
- 5+ years of experience in test automation and planning, test case development and execution
- Experience in the consumer goods industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Effective Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong critical / analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and facilitation skills
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual
- Willingness to share knowledge & experience
- Ability to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data from multiple sources
Technical Skills:
- Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tool
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite along with MS Visio and MS SharePoint
- Understanding of database management tools including Oracle & SQL with experience in data analytics
- Working knowledge of MS DevOps / VSTS
