Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Product Owner, Agile (145007). Do you have experience with Agile? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
You are responsible for defining product strategy along with product OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), strategic initiatives and key milestones. Responsible for building the product roadmap including product releases (program increments). Gain a clear understanding of long-term (12 months) program and platform strategy. Partners with business stakeholders. Responsible for leading continuous roadmap review discussions with key stakeholders to prioritize and plan future release. Responsible for understanding and capturing business process and customer needs in the form of epics, features and stories on the product roadmap and backlog. Owns proactive communication of development roadblocks and mitigation options to business stakeholders. Partners closely with software engineers to execute each release – Responsible for proactively identifying and removing roadblocks in the development process to ensure on-time completion of product releases. Accountable for delivery and execution of specific product(s) within the New Business Model/Rapid Prototyping area. Experience with agile software development methodology. Leads creation of sprint goals and priorities. Responsible for executing sprint planning. Responsible for maintaining prioritized product backlog. Responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements in the form of user stories. Responsible for driving best practices in product development such as continuous backlog refinement, writing good acceptance criteria, identifying definition of ready and done for stories. Responsible for ensuring completed features meet business requirements and customer needs. Responsible for implementation and tracking of scrum metrics with development teams (Sprint velocity, burn down charts, etc.). Lead sprint reviews in collaboration with development team to demo features completed in each sprint. Gain a good understanding of system landscape, architecture and integrations. Lead ideation sessions across development and design to define solutions as needed. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous process improvements. Responsible for collaborating with UI/UX designers to ensure designs meet business requirements and release timelines. Partners closely with IT cross-functional teams such as data, platform, ERP and other product teams to clearly communicate requirements, dependencies and timelines. Responsible for maintaining status of product features and releases on the product roadmap. Ensures communication of status reporting to key business stakeholders, leadership and program management team as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in a product owner/ product manager or similar role
  • Experience with agile software development methodology
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent with Ambiguity and working in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelors degree in Management Information System, Computer Science or similar professional experience
