What You Will Be Doing:

The Operations Start-Up Leader will support capital projects and initiatives to meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. Reporting to the End-to-End Manager, this role focuses on the operational aspects of projects, including evaluating and implementing business processes, equipment, systems, and technology. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across various departments and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support E2E initiatives by providing coaching, scope development, risk assessment, and identifying key milestones.
  • Facilitate key project workshops and lead operational requirement identification.
  • Develop and track operational budgets and deliverables in project schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate operational preparation, pre-commissioning/commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Lead functional testing procedures and commissioning/qualification execution.
  • Consult on recruiting, staffing, and training progress.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support change management strategies.
  • Ensure operational safety considerations and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Collaborate on online readiness, safety protocols, and standard routine implementation.
  • Ensure factory associates are trained and competent before start-up.
  • Facilitate successful start-up and transition to operations.
  • Ensure business objectives, such as line performance and safety measures, are achieved.
  • Complete effective handover of projects to the operational team..

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of change management, business analysis, and project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environments; OR
  • Associate’s degree with 5+ years of project management, change management, and/or business analysis experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in early management, operations, and/or startup environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • PMP or equivalent Project Management Professional certification

Pay:  $60.90 – $87 /hr.
