Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Operations Planning Specialist, MS Excel – 147008. Do you have experience with MS Excel? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
You will provide daily and weekly support in the planning process for Dry Pet and Pet Treats, which will include entering daily and weekly Dry Pet Schedules into SAP, making changes into SAP and ensuring accurate execution of promotions and coupon drops. Ordering of products from the other plants. This includes reviewing, adjusting and manually entering orders to make sure the products are delivered in time for customer orders being shipped without shortages or delays to the customer. Also, making sure not to have too much product on hand, keeping the warehouse efficiencies high. Meets all quality and safety requirements when performing job duties. In the performance of purchasing functions, consideration and outreach will be extended to small businesses including minority and women owned firms. Review load builder orders. Manually enter products for full truckloads, Kimmel and Pro Plan. Set up delivery appointments for all trucks delivered to Davenport, including co-packer orders. Watch promotions on foreign products to order extra to cover the demand. Advise Trade Reps of new product order dates, product availability or discontinued products and the date they are discontinued. Update and save production schedule. Run various transactions for the production process. Create Process Orders for the warehouse when production overruns. Order and coordinate accurate execution of coupons and promotional drops. Manage three (3) spreadsheets to insure this happens. Share responsibility with other MDE in accounting. Work together to get required work completed. Cover for Packaging Coordinator for vacation or illness. Check Fill Rate report for accurate reason codes. Review CPIC 490 report 2 times daily and make adjustments as needed. Watch foreign product suffix codes. Send tickets for product substitutions. Send tickets and update master data for discontinued items.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Competent in working with SAP, Excel, and basic office programs.
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented.
  • Must be team oriented and a good communicator (oral & written).
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Requires 6 – 12 months of general office experience.
