What You Will Be Doing:
The role shall be forward looking and will be directly responsible for maintaining the Project schedule and ensure work is being planned no fewer than 6 weeks out and is completed according to the contract schedule. Reports to the Owners Field Representative (FR), unless dual hatted as the same, such as when the PSR is assigned to a single project on a single site. In this case, the PSR will report to the Owner Project Manager. May be assigned per project if there are multiple projects at one location (typically a factory) based of project complexity and project size. Typically, a PSR would only be assigned if there are multiple projects at a location. If required, the PSR role will be assigned by the PM in L0 (Design) and may coordinate closely with the Field Rep and Project Manager through project development. Reports to the Field Rep and will organize, lead and equip all the Project Site Staff assigned to a single location, typically a factory. Serve as the Construction Lead for any specific project and will lead, organize, and equip project support staff commensurate with the size and complexity of the project. You will manage complex construction projects and teams. Sets up internal and external project management manuals/files. Assigns responsibilities to construction managers and site teams. Leads complex construction project meetings. Leads the projects pre-construction effort. Proposes bidding and contract strategies for Client. Reviews contractor construction schedules and assists with project delivery strategies. Assists with value engineering and risk management initiatives. Communicates on a regular basis with clients to assure satisfaction with services provided. Manages the project close-out processes. Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field is recommended, but a degree is not required.
  • OSHA 30 is desirable
  • CPR Training is desirable
  • Minimum of five (10) years of related project experience.
  • Experience in managing
