Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Facilities Maintenance Specialist. What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our Bridgewater facility. This location serves as our technology hub, so it's vital that the building is well-maintained to support the frequent tours and events hosted here. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various maintenance tasks and assisting with event set-ups. This role involves close collaboration with a team of mechanics, and the successful candidate should be comfortable working independently in different environments, including labs, pilot plants, and office spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including battery replacement for restroom faucets, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers.
  • Conduct weekly drain trap maintenance and apply anti-microbial disinfectant.
  • Handle plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets and sinks, and replacing seals on toilets/urinals.
  • Support event and conference room set-ups, and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Inspect and replace ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and other building components as directed.
  • Manage wall art and posters, ensuring they are secure and properly placed.
  • Provide basic repairs like spackling, patching, and painting as needed.
  • Escort vendors and assist with the movement of new equipment in the facility.
  • Perform periodic tasks like pressure washing the dock area and caring for the basement floor.
  • Additional maintenance duties as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong ability to work independently and manage a variety of daily responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with multiple teams.
  • Basic computer skills (familiarity with SAP or similar systems for requests/tickets).
  • Ideally, some previous knowledge in plumbing.
  • Comfortable in various work environments, including labs and office spaces.
  • High School Diploma is preferred, but not required.

Pay:  $20.13 – $28.75 /hr.
