Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Engineer, Release Train, SAFe (144377). Do you have experience with Agile? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
You will manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban’s and other information radiators. You will plan, facilitate and organize SAFe Program Increment planning and its communication. You will also facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings Facilitate the PI planning event Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives. You will share an agile mindset with a focus on Lean Agile principles and concentration on Systems thinking. You will use negotiation skills. You will contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization while supporting the APMO and the Product and Agile Center of Excellence. You will understand which meaningful metrics to track, how to interpret them, and how to course correct when the numbers are telling you things are headed out of bounds. You will also understand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to Guardrails Facilitate System Demos. You will help manage risks and dependencies Escalate and track impediments. You will provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks. You will be a servant leader – serve the Scrum Master community as a primary escalation contact. You will work with the scrum teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams. You will work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within their roles. You will facilitate Program level events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect & Adapt, etc. You will collaborate and facilitate with other RTE’s on any risks, impediments and dependencies across product teams, areas and Agile Release Trains. You will align with and works in tandem with Product Management on the planning and execution of product deliverables. You will elevate Scrum Masters performance and mentor them to increase their teams’ understanding of Agile principles and practices. You will provide a safe space which promotes relentless improvement and continuous learning. You will guide and coach the scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver quality products and business value. You will coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets. You will build and support high-performing Agile teams and Agile Release Trains. You will provide an escalation point to Scrum Masters and negotiate and assist in facilitating solutions. You will encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. You will improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices. You will assist with managing risks and dependencies and addressing critical bottlenecks. You will assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities. You will also facilitate periodic synchronization meetings, including the Scrum of Scrums.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Agile or SAFe certifications highly preferred.
  • Experience delivering software via agile at scale (programs, product management, etc.)
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to influence
  • 5+ years of IS experience leading projects and/or programs in a professional environment
  • Release Train Engineer and SAFe experience a plus
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of IS technologies and practices
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience using Jira, Clarity, HP ALM (QC), or similar tools.
  • Leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Excellent people and product management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
