What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to solve complex business problems and ensure the quality and effectiveness of our technology solutions. You will be responsible for upgrading components, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures to maintain the integrity of our websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize technical knowledge to solve complex business problems.
- Act as a subject matter expert in evaluating technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, and research.
- Apply website component upgrades, troubleshoot compilation errors, and ensure application security.
- Collaborate with teams, effectively communicate, and seek help when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented software development and maintenance for complex websites.
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases and source control (Git preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with JIRA and Jenkins or similar tools.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, SQS, S3, etc.).
- Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
Pay: $50.32 – $71.88 /hr.
