What You Will Be Doing:
As an Engineer 2 specializing in Network Security, you will use your expertise to solve complex business problems and represent your department on significant projects. You’ll be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of technology through requirements gathering, testing, research, and making recommendations to enhance quality and effectiveness. This role will involve designing and developing security solutions, performing security analyses, and working closely with multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, test, and deploy security solutions
- Perform end-to-end security analysis, identify gaps, and implement solutions
- Create custom threat signatures and ensure compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with various IT teams to meet business demands
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management and data encryption
- Familiarity with OWASP & API OWASP Top 10
- Ability to manage security incidents and monitor security platforms
- Experience using SIEM, performing Packet Captures, and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and network applications
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Akamai or Imperva WAF solutions
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Experience securing cloud applications and working with cloud security operations
Pay: $49 – $70 /hr.
