Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Engineer 2, Developer Productivity & Tools (148653). Do you have experience with Dynatrace? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
As an Engineer 2 on the Developer Productivity & Tools team, you will be key in optimizing our application performance and developer productivity. You will be responsible for implementing and configuring Dynatrace, a leading application performance monitoring platform, across various environments. You will also analyze application performance data, identify areas for improvement, and work with development teams to implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and Configuration:
  • Implement and configure Dynatrace APM solution across various environments.
  • Set up dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor application performance.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze application performance data collected by Dynatrace.
  • Identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Work with development teams to optimize application performance.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Use Dynatrace tools to troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams for issue resolution.
  • Training and Documentation:
  • Train team members on how to use Dynatrace tools effectively.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to Dynatrace configuration and usage.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Dynatrace implementation.
  • Make recommendations for improvements.
  • CI/CD Pipeline:
  • Assist in automating the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Configuration and Maintenance:
  • Support our tool suite, including CI/CD tools, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Dynatrace in the following areas:
  • Developing custom dashboards, alerts, and reports
  • Application performance monitoring (APM) tools
  • Application performance management (APM) concepts
  • Managing/modifying user permissions
  • Identifying performance improvement opportunities
  • Measuring, analyzing, and reporting license consumption
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Dynatrace certification
  • Dynatrace Runtime Application Protection (RAP) experience
  • Cloud-based tooling, scripting, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with application-build tooling and development practices
  • Java software development
  • Version control systems (Git preferred)
  • Code scanning and vulnerability analysis (SonarQube preferred)
  • AWS experience
  • CI/CD pipeline tooling and applications
  • Unit testing knowledge
  • Atlassian Suite or other DevOps application suite experience

Pay: 94,500 – 135,000 /yr.
