What You Will Be Doing:
As an Engineer 2 – Data Integration, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and implementing elements of technology to solve business problems in addition to contributing to design. You will work with a team to test, research and investigate technology and assist with the requirements gathering of the solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions
- Provide operational support to customer events such as releases, and maintenance as required
- Support significant projects such as upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises
- Create, maintain, and improve various forms of script or code to enable monitoring and automation
- Log, schedule and track all changes using change management system tools
- Respond to trouble states and incidents, applying necessary repairs or restoration of service
- Protecting our customers and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- 3+ years’ experience with database platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, AWS Aurora, and Azure SQL
- 3+ years’ experience with data replication/integration technologies
- 3+ years’ experience using scripting languages such as Unix shell scripts and Python
- 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
- Written and oral communication skills that can interface with people of a technical and non-technical background
- Teamwork, decision-making, documentation, and analytical skills
- Customer service experience
- Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 3+ years’ experience with Oracle GoldenGate or Qlik (Attunity) Replicate
- Knowledge of Python, Perl, Unix shell script, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with cloud solutions like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of PCI or other IT Security compliance standards
- Knowledge of Data Governance best practices
