What You Will Be Doing:
The Electrical Engineer will support all aspects of power distribution system studies and analysis, and scoping, development, engineering, construction, and implementation for factory power distribution infrastructure, including power distribution down to the consumers. The Engineers primary role will be to support all aspects of power systems studies, including SKM modeling for each factory. The Engineer will assist factories with breaker coordination, arc flash mitigation, and the documentation of such information.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years working on Power Systems Studies and the specification, engineering and design of industrial power distribution systems (medium and low voltage).
- Proficiency in the use of SKM Power Tools
- Proficiency in power system analysis, short circuit coordination studies, and arc flash hazard analysis.
- Ability to develop load calculations for sizing and specification of power distribution systems.
- Working knowledge of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power distribution equipment, and Utilities/Mechanical systems controls
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), and electrical equipment installation and wiring practices
- Strong Communication/Writing Capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to use AutoCAD to view drawing files, use Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
