What You Will Be Doing:
You will develop SQL solutions to moderately complex problems. Seek opportunities to improve, replace, or enhance legacy systems performance or design. Ensure that new and modifications to existing code base are adequately tested and documented. This includes unit and integration testing as well as overall regression testing. Creation and review of system documentation, which includes the development of implementation and rollback procedures. Participate in active discussions with project managers and business owners to understand business requirements. While working closely with IT, Data Architect and Project Manager to achieve those business objectives. Maintain for the organization the integrity of SQL source code.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of SQL Development
- Have a positive, can-do, user-centered attitude
- Extensive T-SQL, SQL Server, and Management Studio experience
- Exceptional communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in pressure and time sensitive situations
- Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements and deliver reliable, scalable, tested solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work individually or with a team and in a teaching/sharing environment
