What You Will Be Doing:
The successful candidate will collaborate effectively in a team environment, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical resources. This role involves updating complex, multi-faceted data mining and automated aggregation tasks to ensure compliance, stability, and efficiency. Responsibilities encompass stored procedures, database jobs, and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS and SQL agent jobs, leveraging a minimum of five years of experience.
- Design and optimize databases, including relationships, indexes, views, tables, and fields.
- Create and enhance SQL Server queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Perform SQL Server query performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.
- Develop and support complex stored procedures and custom functions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, providing comprehensive documentation.
- Demonstrate strong data investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Apply knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture, and design concepts in practical implementations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with developing and maintaining ETL jobs.
- Work with SQL Server 2016/2019 or prior versions.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for efficient project management.
