Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Data Scientist, Python (145308). Do you have experience with Python? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be responsible for understanding and implementing complex models and problems. Understands unsupervised and supervised ML modeling techniques. Identifies and evaluates architectures for implementing models and solutions for automation. Can create architectures for large scale model processing flows from data acquisition through validation and visualization of model results. Able to communicate complex model architecture and implementation details effectively. Work with cross-disciplinary teams to accomplish the goals of implementing data products which improve efficiency and decision making. Able to create and present analytical results as well as producing understandable written reports outlining the salient features of models and implementations. Continuously learn and challenge existing and planned models and implementations with newest available techniques and best practices. Able to automate both existing and new models within an existing infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s or above in Geospatial Science, mathematics, statistics, computer engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Python (4+ years), experience with additional languages a plus.
  • Proficiency with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical concepts.
  • Experience with ML methodologies and libraries (SciPy, scikit learn, Numpy, Pandas, Tensorflow, or PyTorch)
  • Experience in a collaborative cloud based development environment (1+ years) (AWS Lambda, docker, git, GitHub, bash)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with geospatial data, tools, and techniques required to explore and analyze geospatial data is highly desired.
  • Experience working with data acquisition, including cleaning and performing QC checks on the data. Familiarity with techniques for imputation of missing data is highly desired.
  • Experience working with agricultural/biological scientific data is highly desired.
