What You Will Be Doing:
The Change Lead III is responsible for consistently implementing the firm’s change process on programs/projects that support the firm’s strategies to improve business outcomes and the experience of those leading and receiving change. Lead the application of the organizational change management process and tools throughout the program/project lifecycle. This includes creating the project’s change plan to address collective impacts, ensure stakeholder input and involvement, and reflect prioritized firm change themes, messaging, and integrated plans. Partner with the project leader to document the project objectives, benefits, structure, and governance that will support holistic monitoring, controlling, and reporting program status and progress towards outcomes. Identify measures of successful adoption, utilization, proficiency, and change risk mitigation in consultation with sponsor, business leader(s), and project leader. Identify and assess risks, issues, and opportunities with impacts for stakeholders related to other changes underway. In partnership with project management, manage project change management critical path, dependencies, major milestones, and risks and issues with appropriate escalation. Recommend potential improvements in Change Management practices and process within the firm. Effectively execute stakeholder management and communication throughout the life of a program. Synthesize and provide reporting on project change risk, stakeholder impacts and measures of success. Actively participate in the broader change management community, including facilitating and leading when appropriate. Serve as liaison for the division to the Firm Change Team. Possess strong knowledge of the firm’s business, infrastructure, and stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate program change risks and identify and maximize opportunities to integrate and align stakeholder change across concurrent initiatives. Analyze and resolve change management problems across projects and provide recommendations. Assist project Sponsor, Business Lead(s), project leaders and project teams in solving problems related to the program/project change efforts. Identify change management decisions for the project including offering options, solutions, and trade-offs. Consider risks and impacts to projects as part of the decision making process. Consider risks and impacts to the firm and to stakeholders as part of the decision making process. Provide oversight of project change leaders’ decisions that impact the overall change effort. Collaborate with and escalate to leaders when appropriate. Advise and coach the Sponsor (executive level), Steering Committee, senior business leaders, Project Leader and integration groups (e.g. Division Change Team, Integration Council) on change leadership and change management. Lead and provide direction for multiple project changes at a time. Build commitment and alignment by connecting firm strategy and business needs to the outcome(s) of the program. Drive change by articulating program benefits and value. Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and influence senior stakeholders to optimum outcome.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of change management or related experience is required.
  • Experience creating, monitoring, and interpreting stakeholder change readiness and adoption metrics through the entire project lifecycle preferred.
  • Prosci and/or CCMP Certification is required within 1 year.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
