What You Will Be Doing:
We are currently seeking a professional and skilled Software Engineer develop, create, and support software applications that successfully meet the evolving business needs of the company. S/he will collaborate with business analysts and develop/test/deploy appropriate software solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have full stack development experience and a strong UI development background. S/he will analyze and design data structures within an application area, working individually and coordinate development as part of a team. Additionally, our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to implement enterprise and open-source solutions in a dynamic environment. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make recommendations for improvements to existing custom & enterprise applications and integrations
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and true team mentorship
- Design, develop, and test new applications for API, IoT, low code and sql platforms
- Write efficient code that is easily understood by other developers
- Participate in code reviews
- Paired programming

- Troubleshoot, debug, and add enhancements to existing applications
- Work with business system managers, scrum teams, solution architects, and other developers in an
- Agile environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify performance tuning opportunities
- Develop and manage internal relationships with leadership teams, business managers, IT, and business units as well as external relationships with IT vendors and industry peers
- Work closely with IT management and internal/external customers to deliver best-in-class applications and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to assess, adopt, and operationalize new technologies
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle and best practices
- Troubleshoot and fix application bugs
- Develop solutions with both front-end and back-end requirements
- Develop reusable code
- Collaborate with developers, architects, systems administrators, and customers
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or Engineering)
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering role
- Independent problem-solving, self-direction and strong leadership competencies
- Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles and testing automation
- Azure app services
- Azure DevOps
- Experience in CI/CD
- Experience using relational databases using SQL including: basic CRUD operations, stored procedures,
- indexing, and ad-hoc queries
- Experience with web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (frameworks like Bootstrap or
- Foundation)
- JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, and NodeJS
- Experience developing solutions using libraries like jQuery and use of AJAX
- Experience developing and deploying solutions on web server technologies like Apache, IIS, etc
- Experience in API design and development, RESTful service development
- Hands-on expertise using .NET/C# to implement and maintain secure web services and APIs
- Developed and maintained scripts using Power Shell, Python, etc.
- Active experience integration with Git or Github
- Experience developing mobile application development
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Scrum or Agile software development methodologies
- Ability to context-switch between multiple projects, codebases, and concepts with ease
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Exposure to or expertise with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud-based platforms
- Excellent experience with SQL coding, performance tuning on stored procedures/functions, indexing,
- and ad-hoc queries
- Database technologies like SQL Server T-SQL, Oracle PL-SQL, MySQL, and CosmoDB or CouchDB or MongoDB
- Develop prototype and quality mockups for review
- Working within a knowledge of security best practices
- Prepare ad-hoc queries/reports for both technical and business teams
