Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Agile Engineering Practices Coach – 146693. Do you have experience with Agile? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

What You Will Be Doing:
You will organize and run sprint ceremonies for assigned teams, e.g., facilitate Aha board, planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Discovery and relationship building to gain a strong understand of each team, the products vision, commitments and end user personas. Ensuring the team can work independently during the sprints, generate and sustain velocity/flow and identify the value of each iteration. Optimize the flow of work for assigned teams. Collaborate closely with developers, development managers, product managers and external partners as well as other Agile Coaches. Coach and assist product managers with backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization. Provide support to ensure on schedule and accurate time tracking for epics and sprints. Anticipate and remove impediments to keep teams highly productive while focusing on outcomes not output. Identify, escalate and help manage dependencies internal and external to the team. Identity, escalate and help manage risks, issues, and dependencies for the platform. Provide coaching to assigned teams on agile best practices where needed and help to identify and avoid anti-patterns. Cultivate and sustain effective partnerships between cross-functional team. Foster a culture of sustainable high performance, continuous improvement, innovation and a test and learn approach. Create metrics to measure performance, e.g., cycle time, velocity, WIP and planning accuracy to be shared with stakeholders. Ensure metrics and team coaching are centered on outcomes and not output.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree
  • At least 5 years of experience coaching and implementing Agile, Scrum and or Kanban methodologies.
  • Proven ability as a leader able to work with multiple, diverse roles and personalities.
  • Self-motivated driver to solve problems and able to make progress despite obstacles
  • Strong time management skills and sense of timeliness to meet commitments.
  • Ability to understand technical issues.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills to gain and maintain alignment, transparency of process, results, and trust.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to communicate and transfer knowledge clearly and effectively in both technical and non-technical manners.

  • Agile Coach: ICATF Agile Coach Facilitation Certification
  • IC Agile Certified Coach
  • Scrum Alliance Certification Scrum Master
  • Advanced Scrum Master
  • CSP Certified Professional Scrum Master
  • Lean, Scrum-certified SM
  • SAFe – certified as a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
