Challenge

The client’s legacy data infrastructure posed a major obstacle to their vision of driving innovation through AI and team science. Over 30 healthcare business units, each with unique operational and regulatory requirements, relied on outdated systems that were neither flexible nor scalable.

Compounding the issue was the need to comply with strict HIPAA regulations while enabling secure data sharing and governance across departments. Cloud solutions at the time were not equipped to meet these complex requirements, making it critical for the client to find a partner with expertise in healthcare data compliance and advanced cloud architectures.

TPI designed and implemented a cloud data fabric built on Microsoft Azure Databricks, tailored to address the client’s unique needs.
