How it works when you refer a friend

For referring an applicant who is ultimately hired for a full-time position, Technology Partners pays referral fees according to the following guidelines.

We will pay $500 for referring an applicant who is hired full-time.

The individual who gave the referral must have obtained permission from the applicant to submit his/her name.

The individual being referred must not have been contacted by someone at Technology Partners within the last six months.

Technology Partners must hire the applicant within six months of when the referral was made.

The bonus is payable after the referred staff member (W2 or 1099) has worked for 3 months.

Referral fees are paid proportionately for staff members hired as part-time workers (based on first 3 months of actuals). For example, if the referred employee worked an average of 20 hours per week, the referral fee would be half of the standard.

Technology Partners makes substantially less margin on staff members for which we bill under $40/hour. For these referrals, Technology Partners will pay only half of the above referral amounts in these cases.
