Bio: Chris Marshall is a lifelong St. Louisan. He graduated from Washington University and began pursuing his passion for technology. After successful engagements at Monsanto and Anheuser-Busch, Chris went out on his own, starting Database Concepts 31 years ago.

Chris has built automation and database solutions for companies as large as Boeing and Dollar General and for hundreds of SMBs nationwide. It’s always rewarding to automate complex workflows so employees can get other things done. Chris has used talent from Technology Partners for his largest and most complex projects.

Over the years, some of Chris’ clients experienced data loss…one due to a lightning strike and one due to a nasty virus. Realizing that companies didn’t always have proven, tested backups, Chris started Verified Backups to meet the need. With a patent for his process, Chris is helping companies throughout our region make sure that each and every backup is valid and ready if needed.

Chris lives in St. Louis County with Theresa, his wife of 33 years. Their five grown children are pursuing their own careers in various cities. Chris is active in his church and with various local non-profits. You can reach Chris at Chris@VerifiedBackups.com.
